As an added bonus, the video for this popular song features the American actress (with Mexican heritage) Eva Longoria! Alejandro Sanz, whom was also in Shakira’s “La Tortura”, was born in Madrid and has become a very popular latin pop star. GRAMMAR LESSON 9: GERUND
Remember the gerund in Spanish is the equivalent of “ing” verbs in English. In Spanish they end in “ando” for ar verbs or “iendo” for er and ir verbs. Note the use of the gerund in this song.
